Airlines – SALES MANAGER – SINGAPORE

Reporting to the Vice President, Fleet Management Division, the Sales Manager (FMD) is responsible to identify, engage and secure Fleet Management contracts and other ancillary products as offered by the company.

The candidate should have tertiary qualification, preferably either in Engineering or Business Administration, with a minimum of 7 years experience in a sales role, of which the last 3 years should be in a managerial / team leader capacity.

Scope of Duties:

· To lead a sales team, comprising of an Assistant Sales Manager (ASM) and / or a Sales Executive (SE), to secure Fleet Management Program (FMP) contracts, which includes Fleet Technical Program (FTM) and Inventory Technical Program (ITM) services.

· Regular travel is to be expected in this role.

· To work with the FMD Commercial Team in drafting proposals, and to negotiate contractual terms with potential Customers.

· To promote and secure sales for the other ancillary products offered by the Company.

· To work with the Marketing Team in identifying new customers / markets so as to grow the FMP business.

· To be part of the FMD management team in planning and strategizing future growth of the FMP business of the Company.

· To be able to prepare and deliver presentations to both internal and external customers at senior management levels.

· To co-ordinate activities to ensure that the Company is meeting its level of commitment per the contractual agreement.

· To track the Sales revenue and Sales projection for the current and future FYs.

· To perform such other duties assigned by the Vice President, Fleet Management Division.

· To promote team building and develop the career of the AM / SE of the Sales team.
Requirements:

· Tertiary qualification, preferably in Engineering or Business Admin.
· MBA is desired but not mandatory
· Minimum 7 years in Sales, preferably in the Aviation/Aerospace industry.
· Minimum 3 years in a managerial / team leader capacity.
· Experience in the local Singaporean market is a must and of course international exposure
